PVFC'S SEMI-ANNUAL

APPRECIATION BANQUET

The fire company held its semi-annual appreciation banquet on March 25,2007. There was apporx 100 people in attendance. The evening started off with the introduction of the company officers, Antis Township Supervisors, Antis Township Manger and Business people. After the introductions were complete, Andrew Brazle (who has been working of a eagle scout project) presented Chief Melvin Pfahler with Stop and Slow signs to use for traffic control.

The members and guests then had a dinner blessing delivered by Lenny Alwine before we all sat down for a delicious meal prepared by Jean Hampton and Helpers.

After the meal we were treated to a guest speaker, Garret Barbosa a retired FDNY firefighter, prior to speaking Chief Pfahler presented Garret with a honorary membership to the fire company.

Garret then spoke and showed a slide show to the members and guests pertaining to the events of Sept 11,2001.

Thank you Garret for the well delivered Speech. We then moved on with the evening by presenting company members with new shirts and also a few members (shown below)  received gag gifts.

The evening then concluded with a performance from the Bellwood-Antis High School Chorus
